I had a great day today! I got my hair done in the morning and then my mom and I went out to lunch at a cool restaurant called The Old Mill. My mom worked there when she was a teenager and she’s been talking about taking me there for years.
Instead of serving dinner rolls, they serve warm, sweet, gooey pecan rolls. They are so good. Add in the great views and cool old atmosphere and you’ve got me sold!
I was able to take some neat pictures of the place. I’m having so much fun figuring out my camera and editing the pictures once I have them on the computer. For example, all of my shots were turning out blue when I was on manual today. I realized on the ride home that my white balance was off. But, I actually like how some of the shots turned out with the blue tint. I edited them a bit to make them a little less harsh, but it gave them a cool effect. Pun intended?

I hope you all had a good day! This was my last day off before school. I had yesterday off for Patriots’ Day, a holiday that, according to Wikipedia, is observed in Massachusetts, Maine, Wisconsin, and “encouraged in Florida.” Lol.
