I had the day off from my real job, so I was able to go to my internship instead. I really love it there. I am inspired in so many ways every time I go. There are so many creative people working together there, and they make the most beautiful things. The owner, Amy, inspires me with her “can-do” attitude. Today one of the shop vendors told her she’s fearless, and I think that’s the perfect way to put it. Or at least, she doesn’t let her fears stop her from doing what she wants to do.

When I came in today Amy and I were both wearing Free People dresses, so we snapped this picture together on Crompton’s Instagram.

 

I also snapped a picture of my breakfast, because I actually had time to eat breakfast today. Usually I’ve used up all of my getting-ready time with showering, getting dressed, and primping, and I’m left with five minutes to grab a granola bar and make a cup of tea to-go, if I’m lucky. However, today I had an entire hour! Which is why I was able to take outfit pictures.

The funny thing about this picture is that everything look so perfect, but in reality I took too long taking thing picture and my English muffin was cold, so I gave it to my dog, who was begging with his most persuasive puppy face (see below), the iced tea left a ring of condensation on the table, and I only ate half of the fruit salad. Life versus photos, haha.

After work I met my family at my cousin’s new house and had a nice evening hanging out in her new patio furniture. I didn’t get any pictures, but it was really nice to see some family.
