I never thought I would become a t-shirt girl, but they’re all I’ve been wearing lately. I literally had a t-shirt ban in effect from eight grade to the end of high school. I felt like my back fat showed too much in them, so all the graphic tees, basic tees, and band tees were on the outs.
After the ban had been lifted, I still wasn’t really into them. They were too casual for my style at the time. For now, though, I’m all about comfort. Oversized shorts, soft tees, and cushioned clogs have been calling my name. I’ve come to realize that you don’t always need to wear fringe and sparkle and texture to have a nice outfit. But, like, sometimes they are necessary…
