Spring Blog Playlist Collage2

Listen HERE

1. Dancing in The Moonlight -King Harvest
This song is just a classic that makes you want to dance around a bonfire…not in a witchy way.

2. Stop Crying Your Heart Out -Oasis
So, I originally meant this to by “Don’t Look Back In Anger” but I got confused and picked the wrong song, but I think it still works. Oasis always reminds me of summer ever since I listened to “Wonderwall” for the entire week I was at the beach in 2005.

3. Happily -One Direction
Even if you don’t like One Direction, you may like this song. It has more of a folksy kind of Mumford and Sons feel. It’s just upbeat and fun.

4. Booty Swing -Parov Stelar
If you want to feel like a modern day flapper (doesn’t everyone, or is this just me?) then go no further than this song. It’s like the Charleston meets Avicci or something.

5. First Day of My Life -Bright Eyes
This song is just so pretty. Acoustic guitar, sweet lyrics, what more can you ask for?

6. Hothouse -78Violet
Aly & AJ were my favorite singers for all of middle school. They have since rebranded themselves as 78Violet and have a cool, bohemian vibe that is very different from their bubblegum pop of the early 2000’s.

7. Cedar Lane -First Aid Kit
If you were to only listen to one song on this playlist, it should  be this one. First Aid Kit is another sister duo. They’re from Sweden and they sing the most beautiful folk songs. This is their single off of their new album coming out next month. I’ve had it on repeat all day.

8. See You Again -Kacey Musgraves
This is actually a cover of a Miley Cyrus song from her Hannah Montana days. Kacey Musgraves has such a pretty voice and she did a really cool job on this song.

I’ve been wanting to post this for weeks. So long, that most of the songs have changed as my music rotation changes. I tried to paint this probably a month ago but it came out really busy, way too hard to read. I redid it yesterday and finally got everything together to get this up.
It’s just a mishmash of songs that I’ve been listening to that remind me of spring, warm weather, sunny days.

I hope you enjoy!
