Last Sunday I went into the city to do some exploring and shopping. I had been wanting to make the trip since I moved three months ago, but this was my first free weekend.
I was going to take the train, but chickened out and wound up driving in. I was happy to find that it was closer than I expected.
One of my main reasons for going was to check out the new Primark. If you’re not familiar with the store, it’s a UK based department store the just opened its first US store in Boston. Having heard about it for years on YouTube, I was excited to see it in real life. But, I found it disappointing. It was like a lower quality H&M or Forever 21 in terms of quality. Plus it was so crowded and loud. And they had one of the most ill equipped bathrooms I have ever seen. This is a four story shop whose women’s bathroom has two stalls. The line was about fifteen people long and only one stall had toilet paper.
I don’t think I’ll go out of my way to go there again, but I enjoyed my trip none the less.
If you have any recommendations for where I should go on my next Boston exploration, let me know!

I find these photos intriguing Kelsey. Especially the one of the Fairmont for some reason. The perspective as I scroll down seems to make it expand. And there is a mystery about it- what’s going on behind those windows? You must’ve had an exciting day, doing Boston all by yourself. I’m proud of how your brave and unique artist self is growing leaps and bounds! I don’t know if I can respond this way, or if I need to go to your blog. Let me know if you get this. Thanks Val! It worked! It’s nice to hear what you see in the pictures. Everyone has such different perspectives on the same thing.
