Sweater: American Eagle, similar at Forever 21
Boots: 6pm
Skirt: QMack, similar at Love Culture
I picked this skirt up at a local off-price store. From my internet sleuthing I discovered that this was a brand at Macy’s last year that has apparently disappeared. I guess it wasn’t a great seller. I wish it was still around because I love this skirt. I got one in black, too, and have been wearing them almost non-stop the last two weeks. They go with everything, a striped top, sweaters, business casual. I think I underestimated how much of a staple a flattering black skirt is.

I’ve tried to buy a basic black skirt in the past, but always go awry, picking something with sparkles, or made out of velvet, or leather, that isn’t actually very versatile.

I decided to dip dye my hair after spending a bit too much time on Kylie Jenner’s Instagram. Despite the questionable influence, I really love how it came out! It’s been about two weeks now and the dye is almost completely gone. I think that’s a good length of time for a temporary color. It was long enough that it doesn’t feel like it was pointless, and is short enough that it’s not a big commitment. It’s gives a half punk, half bohemian. And then the outfit is kind of preppy/classic, kind of private school. All the things in one!

I hope you all had a good week!
