Dress: Marshalls, similar at American Eagle
Boots: Marshalls, similar from Volatile and Frye
Picture credit goes to my dad. I wore this a yesterday when I went out with my mom. This is actually a field across from my house. Isn’t it beautiful? I don’t understand why people don’t like dandelions. They’re so pretty!
I’m back! And so is the warm weather!
Things I’ve done since I last posted:
-taken five finals and written two papers
-PASSED ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE (hallelujah!)
-got an internship at an awesome vintage clothing boutique/antique shop
-become a senior in college (what…how did this happen???)
I am so relieved to be done with this semester! This means I am officially done with math! It hasn’t even sunk in how fabulous that is. Math has been dragging down my GPA and my spirits for the past three years, but I am done! done! done! I have fulfilled all of my requirements and now I just have marketing and English classes left for next year.
I’ve taken advantage of the increase in my free time to do the things I love to do most at the moment; mainly paint, take pictures, shop, and catch up on wedding shows with my mom.
I had to work today so my mom and I did our own Mother’s Day yesterday. We got lunch-ish at a mexican restaurant and then went to the mall. I got my first MAC lipstick (Ruby Woo), a beautiful vintagey dress from Forever 21, and a super comfy pink denim shirt from Gap that makes me feel like a painter that lives in a loft and listens to Fleetwood Mac all day…or something like that. I’m sure I’ll have posts soon with all my new finds. I wore my Gap shirt today, but it was a really lame outfit consisting of the shirt, leggings, and Converse, so I didn’t bother taking photos.
I got out of work at 4 today and took advantage of the gorgeous weather and plentiful daylight to do a little exploring around town. I drove down a dirt road that I have passed by for years, went to the Quabbin reservoir, and visited a little brook by my house.
Quabbin reservoir is the main water supply for Boston and was built it the 30’s. They actually flooded a bunch of towns to form it. This fact will never not boggle my mind.
I used to roll down this hill when I was little. It was the best. You can get going wicked fast, but I always wound up going sideways and coming to a half halfway down.
I love how this picture came out grainy and looks kind of old-fashioned.
I hope you are all having a lovely week! I turn 21 tomorrow, crazy!

Thank you! It has finally warmed up here and I am so happy about it. I think it was just two or three weeks ago we woke up to a dusting of snow, so the warm weather is much appreciated.
