I wore this to work on Thursday— as in, I was in pajamas all day except for the four hours I was at work wearing this, hahaha. It was midterms week, so I had three tests and two papers, which made for a lot of work. It really wasn’t bad, though. Last semester I had two fourteen page papers, so this felt like nothing.
I went shopping with my mom today. I got some awesome linen t-shirts at Marshalls and an amazing high neck lace top (different from the one in this post) and printed jeans from Nordstrom Rack— both of which were from Free People and were way cheaper than they would have been. I’m sure they’ll be in posts soon.
A funny thing about the jeans, I was holding them up to myself tonight and to get them to not touch the ground I had to hold them up to my shoulders, haha! I’m so short! Luckily they have a raw hem, so I can just cut off however much I need to and won’t need to sew them.
I also did a little painting. I got a new watercolor set at Michael’s and I am so happy with it. It is really hard to find paint sets with bright blues, pinks, and purples. I really love watercolors. Now that I have actual watercolor paper, I realize that it does a lot of the work for you. To paint this little map-ish thing of Italy I just drew a rough sketch, wet the inside, and then dropped the paint in and it mixed itself. It’s so fun and easy!
