…or twenty, single, and broke.

August 8th, 2013

I got up around 10:30 today (which sadly, is early for me on a day when I don’t have to go into work early). I got ready, and while I was primping I was texting Meg, who I thought was at work, when I realized she was actually just downstairs. She thought I was at work too, so it was surprises all around.

I had work in the office today. Steph closed with me, which was fun. She’s going back to school soon, so this was probably our last time working together for a while. We listened to Miley Cyrus radio on Pandora and knit and talked about our feelings. It was great.

When I got home I got back to work on my desk and started painting the gold piping. It’s going to need another coat or two, but I did not have the patience tonight.

I watched a youtube video of the really fit girl, which inspired me to go on the treadmill tonight. I don’t even know how far I went… not very far, but whatever. I was going to eat a piece of pie but I did that instead, so that’s a good tradeoff.

As for my outfit, I felt like I was channeling Jenna Rink (Jennifer Garner) from 13 Going On 30 today.

My top and skirt are both from Marshalls. Similar top here. Similar skirt here.

My shoes are from Hannah Andersson, similar here.

Headband from April Cornell, similar here.

I hope you all had a lovely day!
