How To Be Cool

This has been a great vacation. My family and I have been staying at my grandparent’s beach house, enjoying our last week together before my brother and I move away.
Today was one of the hottest days of the summer, so we spent it trying to cool off. First my dad and I went swimming. The water has been exceptionally warm for the New Hampshire coast, which is much appreciated. I’ll go in the water anyway because swimming is one of my favorite things, but it is nice to not be frozen.
After our swim we pulled ourselves together and went exploring. We found a cool brewery (where these pictures were taken), and perused a very large Salvation Army. They had chairs for a dollar! But I didn’t buy anything because we don’t have space in the car.
These past few weeks have been a true test of my spending wills. I’ve been trying my hardest to not buy a ton of stuff for my new apartment. I think I need to move in first and really assess the situation before I start decorating. Although I have been working on a gallery wall for a few weeks now…
