This was my first-day-of-school outfit this year. I’m graduating from college this year, and I’m not sure if I’m going to grad school, so this may have been my last-first-day-of -school ever!
I got this dress on sale at Marshalls the day before and couldn’t pass it up. I am such a sucker for velvet, paisley, tulle, dusty mint, and slip dresses. This dress is basically my kryptonite.
It was super hot, 90’s and humid, but I managed to stay pretty cool despite what the velvet may suggest. The burnout design makes it lightweight and semi-breathable.
I’m already swamped with work…honestly I should probably be doing some homework right now, but I couldn’t resist a quick post. The blog has been neglected this week for school work and catching up with friends. These pictures have been taunting me from my SD card.
Speaking of pictures on my SD card, today I did a wicked awesome photo shoot with my friend that I cannot wait to share with you! They’re some of my favorite pictures I’ve ever taken. I’ve been wanting to a really stylized shoot all summer but I couldn’t get anyone to model for me until my fold roommate Natali came back to school.
Hopefully I’ll be able to get them up soon. Here’s a sneak peek:
Eeeeee! Love it so much!
I hope you all had a good weekend and if you’re back at school, good luck!

Thanks, girl! I’ve literally been doing homework all day. So much for an “easy senior year” HA.
