Dress: Monsoon, similar at Free People
Long time, no see!
^ my standard blog intro at this point
It’s been a while, but I have a good reason this time. Aside from dressing super boring, I have been working on a new website.
I have officially launched Kelsey Haley Media, my videography and photography business website!
I am very excited to start delving into this world. I’ve already done a few shoots and am totally loving it. My videography has improved exponentially over the last year at work, but my photography had gone a little stagnant.
I have learned more about photography in the last few months than I have in the last three years combined. I’ve upgraded my camera and lens, started shoot RAW files, and have been learning how to use Lightroom instead of my old combo of Apple Photos and occasionally Photoshop.
Lightroom has really changed my photography style. Having access to local edits has made it so much faster and easier to control the outcome of my photos.
I can’t wait to see what the future brings! Hopefully lots of fun and exciting projects!
As for this outfit, I got the dress at Monsoon. I can’t find it online, but if there’s a store near you they may have it. It’s pretty cute, although throughout the day I discovered that I can’t fully lift my arms, and the pompoms get tangled together, creating a romper-esque knot. But, they’re pretty dang cool, so I can deal with it.
