This has been by far my busiest wedding season yet. It’s probably most wedding professional’s busiest season ever.
I took a rare day off last week and took some photos for fun. I pulled out my tiny Fuji camera for the lightest setup and did what I used to do, parked on the side of the road and set up my tripod in the middle of a field.
As soon as I set up at this first spot an old man pulled over and got his mail for what felt like ten minutes. I didn’t move hoping he wouldn’t see me, I felt like a meerkat frozen with my head out of the ground.
Anyway, he eventually finished getting his mail and I took my photos. I stopped my Quabbin too for a second location. And yes, I just so happen to keep a fake bouquet in my trunk as well as a lace parasol, a sewing kit, and 9 clear umbrellas.
This dress is from Etsy. It comes in a ton of colors and is easy to wear.
The seller took my custom measurements and it fits great! It felt a little tight when I raised my arms at first, but I think it has stretched to fit me a little better after wearing it a bit.
I attempted to make my own and the ill-fitting bodice has been sitting on my dress form for weeks. Maybe once things settle down I’ll finish it.
