I saw this image on Pinterest a few months ago and haven’t been able to get it out of my mind. I couldn’t find any dresses that are similar in my price range, so I decided to make it myself.
In total, the pattern and the materials were about $30, much less than the hundred dollar dresses I was looking at online.
I decided to forego the sleeves because I felt like they made the dress too matronly and stuffy. It’s supposed to be a hot summer, so the cooler my clothes are, the better.
I’ve caught the sewing bug and have already made this dress again in a floral print… and I just bought some more in a toile print.
