Adulthood: Week 1

I realize I’m not smiling in any of these pictures, but I am actually really happy!
I moved into my apartment Sunday with the help of my parents, brother, and cousins. They were seriously so fast that by the time I had driven around the block to move my car in place, they had brought all of my living room and bedroom furniture up three sets of stairs. They were life savers.

The next few days after that consisted of my mom and I running around to various shops, getting all of the things I had forgetten/didn’t have yet. It was also like 90 every day and soo humid. But we got pretty much everything set up.
I have a bit more decorating that I want to do. I really want to flesh out my gallery wall(s). But it is really starting to feel like my own space, which is so exciting! I’m really happy with all of the styles I’ve chosen (read: stolen from my parent’s house).

Yesterday was my first day of work. I was a little nervous because not only was it my first day, but my mom also left that day, so it was my first time really on my own. I am seriously loving my job. The office space is amazing…I even have my own desk! All of the people have been super nice and welcoming.
I think I’ll be getting in to the main parts of my job next week. They’ve been easing me in, which I really appreciate.
