I had a free Sunday to myself, so obviously I wound up filming a video. It’s always nice when I force myself to get off the couch and actually explore my surroundings.
It turns out I don’t have to venture far to find some pretty cool places. I discovered a land preserve, a public farm & flower garden, and a bunch of dogs! What more can a girl ask for?

It was drizzly and cool on Sunday, but I was loving it. I am even more excited about fall than I normally am because A) I’m not in school anymore, and B) My apartment is no longer a living sauna. I actually slept with the window CLOSED the other night. It was a real milestone.
I am super excited about fall fashion as well. I’ve said this before, but working an office job and not being able to wear my go-to denim cut-offs in the summer made me dislike the warm weather fashions even more. I always get excited for summer fashion, but in reality wearing short skirts in not plausible because either my Spanx show or I suffer through thigh chafe, and dresses are becoming more difficult. Anyway, I’m looking forward to covering my body in as many layers as is humanly possible in the colder months.
I may emerge again come spring.
