I Am Not A Model

This was my attempt at shooting a lookbook before the end of the year. I’m still trying to figure out how to take photos indoors in low lighting…is it even possible? However, I just got the free trial of Lightroom and it is so nice to be able to work with masks and edit the exposure of parts of the pictures. I took these pictures yesterday before heading out for the night (I didn’t wear this outfit- it was a more casual affair). I realized while taking these that I much prefer being behind the camera when it comes to photoshoots. Not only is it difficult to take pictures of yourself (my camera remote battery died), I am just not good at posing. I need Natali to come back from break and model for me!

I had a great New Year’s Eve. My brother, his friend, and I went to my cousin’s party in his new house. It was a lot of fun hanging out with family and friends to ring in the New Year. We danced to Taylor Swift (interpretive dance in my case), we ate good food, had some good laughs, and rang in the morning with brunch (yassss).
