I have been talking about going to The Book Mill for roughly fifteen years. My memere always used to talk about taking me, or my aunt would, but it never happened until last week. I went with a friend from work and had a grand old time.
The building is old and amazing in and of itself, but it is set on a river and it makes the most calming rushing water sound. There’s a cafe, a library, a used record store, and a restaurant. I had a chicken curry sandwich that was so. good.
My friend and I hung out for a while reading books, taking pictures, and eating lunch. It was a great day and was even better than I had imagined it would be.

PS: Sorry for not posting much lately. I’ve just discovered the author Gayle Forman and have been devouring all of her books. I get rather reading-obsessed and neglect every other part of life at times.
