I had a very nice day off from work and was able to go to my internship at Crompton. The more time I spend there, the more I love it! It really makes me think that maybe I could do something like that one day.
I was unable to leave without buying a few goodies today. I’ve been eyeing that quartz necklace since the day I stepped foot in there. I’ve been wearing more jewelry lately, so I decided today was the day to take it home with me : )
For the life of me, I could not get a good close up of it with my camera. I literally broke out into a sweat trying to get it, so the old iPhone had to suffice.
I’ve been figuring out the workings of my new 50mm lens. I am loving it, but I’m realizing what it’s good and not so good at (given my current skill set). Full sunlight doesn’t work, super close-ups are blurry, and I didn’t realize how far away I would have to be from the camera to get my whole body in the frame. Regardless of those kinks, I am really enjoying the quality pictures I can get from it.
