I’ve been super busy the past few days getting the lake I work at ready to be open.

The big day was yesterday and I was surprised how much goes into getting it to that point. I’ve worked there for six years, but there’s a lot more that goes on behind the scenes than I knew. I have a lot of respect for the people who have managed before me. It is a lot of work. I’ve been to Walmart more times than I would ever have wanted to, and I’ve picked up more goose poop than I knew was possible to produce.

It’s not the most difficult job in the world or anything, but it is a bit more stressful than I expected.

I stopped down the street from my house to take these outfit pictures. There’s a really cute farm with a bunch of cows. It makes me happy every time I drive by.

Before all the opening day craziness, I had some fun with my dad and did some light painting. It was funny how impressed he was with it.
