Jacket: Old Navy (this season’s version)
Top: Brandy Melville (I cut the neckline on mine), similar at American Eagle
Leggings: Gap
Boots: Target (this season’s version)

Today was a nice day off. I woke up and got some reading done for school, then went with my parents to visit my grandpa. He was pretty good today, talkative and he remembered my dad’s name.

After that we went to the mall. I wanted to check out the Gap jeans sale, but they didn’t have what I was looking for. My hunt for high-waisted wide-leg jeans continues. I’ve had some in the past that I really like, but they are too small now. Too many mozzarella sticks…

A Chic-Fil-A just opened up near the mall, so we went there for dinner. It’s the first one to open in the area, so it was mobbed. The line was out the door at points, but the service was impressively fast. I can’t imagine how hard it would be to work at a busy fast food restaurant. I was really lucky to work for the recreation dept. during my teen years. I still am lucky to work for them. I’ve really built  family there.

It was dark when I got home and took my outfit pictures so I used my dad’s giant work lamp for lighting. It was super bright (hence the title). It worked out pretty well, and is what I will probably have to do for the time being. Although, day light savings is coming soon, so maybe it will still be light out when I get home. We shall see.

I hope you’re all having a good weekend!
