It’s hard to believe that it’s been half a year since I started this blog. I am so glad that I decided to do it. Blogging is not only a creative outlet for me, it’s also a whole lot of fun.
When I first started this blog, I was embarrassed and unsure. I didn’t tell anyone about it for the first few weeks, but once I did I was happy to find that no one thought it was weird or conceited, like I worried. Everyone was and is so supportive.
My friends and family are my biggest supporters. My mom is always there to catch my typos, and remind me when it’s been a week since I last posted. Even my dad reads this! I thought he would have no interest in it, given his wardrobe of blue polo shorts and khaki pants. Lol.
Now I love posting on it, and I am so excited when I am able to upload quality content. I really hope that I am going to be able to do more outdoor outfit posts, more Get The Look posts, and more lookbooks in the coming year. Those are the posts that I am most proud of. I don’t always have the time to do them, but when I do, I enjoy every minute. Even trying to act casual as I set up my tripod on the side of the street, haha!
This blog is a chance for me to catalogue my personal style and development. I think it will be so interesting to look back in a few years and see how my style has changed, which is part of the reason I wanted to do a year in review post (even if it is only six months). Some of these outfits, I will be happy to never wear again (blue velour cat lady dress), and others I can’t wait to wear again (yay, new fringe jacket!).
I have to credit llymlrs for the idea. I found her on youtube last year and then discovered her fashion blog. She is amazing and if you’re not already reading her blog, you should be.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me, every follower, ever person who has read a post, looked at a picture, or just clicked on the home page.
I hope that 2014 is an amazing year!
