I love all the elements of this outfit, lace, a maxi skirt, a dark lip. Sadly, I only wound up wearing this for a few hours before I switched into sweatpants and a t-shirt. Or maybe it’s not sadly, because now I can wear it again tomorrow, not that I wouldn’t do it anyway. I think I’ve only worn three outfits this week because I keep being lazy and wearing the same thing two days in a row. It’s hard to wear nice outfits when it’s cold and snowy out.

Lip color: Revlon Black Cherry

I just picked this up at Target after hemming and hawing over it for a while at CVS last week. I had heard a lot of rave reviews from various Youtubers, but I never wanted to commit because 1) I never wear lipstick 2) all of the lipsticks I’ve tried in the past smell like old ladies and taste even worse 3) it’s a pretty dramatic color (my mom does not like it), and 4) at CVS it is $9.49, which is way more than I wanted to spend.

I stopped at Target yesterday after work to pick up come Christmas presents, and I happened to wander into the makeup aisle, and I spotted this sucker for $4.99. I was sold. And I am very happy with my purchase. It doesn’t smell bad or feel drying. Yay!

I was supposed to go out with Rachel and run some errands, but those plans fell through, so I spent my rare day off sitting around watching youtube videos…it was great! I also shoveled out my car, which I will count as a workout. So, now I can say I worked out on my day off, ha ha ha.
