This has been a good weekend. I was off Friday for a doctor’s appointment and was able to hang out with my friends Sarah, Meghan, and Molly that night. We got dinner at Applebee’s and, when we decided we didn’t want the fun to be over, dessert at Friendly’s.
Sarah and I decided to stay in and watch the movie Spotlight. It was so good. It’s about how the Boston Globe uncovered the Catholic church child molestation cover up/epidemic. It was very interesting and it kept me on my toes even though I knew how it was going to end. I highly recommend it!
The rest of the weekend was spent working at Crompton and spending more time with friends. It had been a few weeks since I had hung out with anyone and I really missed it. There’s nothing like spending time with your girlfriends. There’s so much laughter and love.
I got a new camera lens this weekend. It’s a 35mm prime, which means I can take better pictures in my apartment now! I don’t have to be ten feet away from the camera to fit my body in the frame. These shots were taken in front of my bedroom feature wall. I had to move my bed and balance my tripod precariously to get the shots, but it was so worth it! I can’t wait to do more with this new lens.
