Outfits From the Week

Wednesday: Layers of Earth tones

Jacket: Gap, similar at Forever 21
Top: Marshalls, similar at Forever 21
Leggings: Gap
Scarf: H&M, similar at American Eagle
Boots: Born Crown (last season), similar by Lucky Brand

I loved this outfit, it was comfortable, but it still felt like me. I think the scarf (which I stole from my mom)really made the look. Before I had it on I felt drab. I think it added the perfect amount of pizazz.

Thursday: Burgundy/Oxblood/Cranberry/Can we stop renaming colors?

Sweater: Marshalls, similar at Urban Outfitters
Skirt: Marshalls, similar at Daily Look
Shoes: American Eagle (old), similar at Gap

So, I didn’t wind up actually wearing those shoes. I made it half way through toasting my pumpkin bagel before I was running upstairs to the beckoning of my combat boots. I just kept thinking about the twenty minute walk from my parking lot to my classes, and then the walking in between classes, and I just couldn’t do it. I think I actually liked the boots with it more. Within ten minutes of wearing the heels, I was reminded that heels are the patriarchal devil’s way to control women so that they can’t move quickly…but really.

Friday: Business Classy

Top: Marshalls, similar at Nordstrom
Pants: Marshalls, similar at Asos
Shoes: Target (old…and children’s) similar by Lucky Brand

So, I didn’t wear this exact outfit today, this is from the career fair my school had last week, but I wore the same top and green pants…so, close enough.

If you’re in the U.S. then I hope you have a lovely three day weekend! If not, have a lovely two day weekend! If you don’t have a weekend, I’m sorry.
